Christmas Dinner? Easy

An image of a man and a woman cooking Christmas dinner in the kitchen.

If you’ve been tasked with cooking the Christmas dinner this year, don’t fear. Here at Cooker Solutions, we have put together top tips to make cooking easy.

Preparation

Preparation is key when taking on the cooking for a large group of people. If you’re in charge, you may find it helpful to make a list of times that each part of the mean needs to be int he oven by and how long it will take. This way, you can work down the list and ensure nothing is missed off the list (or burns)

Delegate

Don’t be afraid to delegate on Christmas day. Some people feel uncomfortable not helping when they see their host rushing around, so if you have someone that seems eager to help, get them to join in. Additionally, some people like to chat more than others, so if they seem willing to help, get them in the kitchen to help prep and you can keep each other company.

Clean as You Go

There’s a lot to take care of when you’re in charge of cooking the Christmas dinner, and the kitchen can easily become messy. The best thing to do to keep your kitchen tidy is to clean as you go. Where possible, without cross-contamination, you may also want to use the same and trays for things such as vegetables and potatoes etc.
